A couple of weeks ago a friend and I went on a mini adventure to the Washington National Cathedral for a school project and took a million and five pictures. For the assignment I had to compare it with the Chartres Cathedral in France and I was genuinely surprised at how similar they were. The National Cathedral is such a hidden gem, I never would have thought to go visit but I had the best time. The architecture was stunning and the amount of detail in every corner of the building was incredible. I felt like I was back in Scotland, it was the coolest.
